An important cultural property of Japan.Akita-Kanto-matsuri is a summer festival to exorcise evil spirits or disease of summer as "Neburi-Nagashi(ねぶり流し)".Kanto(竿燈) is a main object, decorated pole and lanterns. The whole of pole regarded as an ear of rice. And combined lanterns looked as a straw rice bag. Kanto is mounted onto the forehead, the waist, the shoulders and so on to pray a good harvest.
